Acetylene alarm installation 5 aspects to pay attention to

Acetylene gas is a kind of flammable gas, commonly known as wind coal and calcium carbide gas. It is a small part of the series of alkyne compounds. It is mainly used for industrial purposes, especially for welding metals. Acetylene is a colorless at room temperature. Very flammable gas. There is a danger of violent explosion in liquid and solid state or in a gaseous state and a certain pressure. It can be caused by heat, vibration, electric spark and other factors, and it is a high-risk gas. The installation of acetylene gas alarm can effectively prevent the loss of acetylene gas leakage to the enterprise.

The acetylene leakage concentration alarm consists of two parts: an acetylene gas alarm controller and an acetylene gas detector. The controller can be placed in the duty room to control the monitoring points. The acetylene gas detector is installed in a gas leaking place, acetylene gas. The core component of the detector is a built-in gas sensor, and the acetylene gas sensor detects the concentration of acetylene gas in the air. The acetylene gas detector converts the concentration of acetylene gas detected by the sensor into an electrical signal and transmits it to the controller through a cable. The higher the concentration of acetylene gas, the stronger the electrical signal, when the concentration of acetylene gas reaches or exceeds that set by the acetylene gas alarm controller. At the alarm point, the acetylene gas alarm controller sends out an alarm signal, and can activate an external device such as a solenoid valve or an exhaust fan to automatically eliminate hidden dangers.

Be sure to pay attention to the following five aspects when installing an acetylene alarm:
1. The installation height of the gas alarm should be determined according to the nature of the gas.
2. The acetylene gas detector probe is mainly a detecting component that contacts the combustion gas sensor. The platinum wire coil is coated with alumina and a binder to form a spherical shape, and the outer surface thereof is provided with a rare metal such as platinum or palladium. Therefore, be careful when installing to avoid breaking the probe.
3. The density of the gas to be measured is different, and the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe should be installed at a distance of 30cm from the roof, and the direction should be downward; otherwise, the probe should be installed at a distance of 30cm from the ground, and the direction is upward. Because acetylene is lighter than air, the probe should be installed at 30CM from the roof.
4. The gas detector is an electronic instrument with sound and light display function. It should be installed in a place that is easy for the staff to see and hear, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.
5. There should be no strong electromagnetic fields (such as high-power motors and transformers) that affect the operation of the instrument around the gas detector.
