Detector selection requirements:
1. The function, structure, performance and quality of the selected detector should meet the national legal requirements;
2. The manufacturer of the detector should obtain a license for manufacturing measuring instruments issued by the administrative department of technical supervision of the state
3. The detector manufacturer should obtain the explosion-proof certificate issued by the nationally designated explosion-proof inspection department, and reach the explosion-proof level required by the installation site.

Daily maintenance of the detector:
● 1. Keep the outside of the detector in good condition and clean. It is necessary to keep all parts free of dust and oil to prevent corrosion. When used in harsh environments such as dusty and corrosive gases, it should be cleaned and cleaned in time, especially the detection device should not be blocked by foreign objects.
● 2. The gas detector in use is forbidden to be subject to collision and impact, so as not to damage the internal components and cause malfunctions after being subjected to severe external forces.
● 3. The detector should pay attention to waterproofing. Waterproof covers should be installed in the outdoor and indoor areas that are susceptible to water washing, or the non-detecting parts should be wrapped with thick plastic; waterproof and sealing measures should be taken if the connecting cable is higher than the detector.
● 4. The installation and wiring of the detector shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements specified by the manufacturer, and shall comply with the requirements for installation and wiring of explosion-proof instruments.
● 5. The detector is an explosion-proof and explosion-proof equipment, and it must not be used beyond the specified scope. The detector must not be used in places containing sulfur. The detector should be used under conditions where the concentration of combustible gas is lower than the lower explosive limit, otherwise, the components may be burnt out.
● 6. Turn off the power when overhauling or moving, otherwise it will easily burn out the components.
● 7. Do not install the detector close to steam or oily smoke.
● 8. Do not immerse the detector in water or other liquids.
● 9. Do not use substances with pungent odors such as pesticides, paints, and large amounts of alcohol near the detector to avoid false alarms.
● 10. Avoid frequent high-concentration combustible gas impacting the sensor during use.
● 11. Under normal conditions, the service life of the combustible gas sensor is 2-3 years, and that of the toxic gas sensor is about 2 years. Incorrect installation, use or adverse environmental influences will reduce the sensitivity of the sensor and shorten its service life.
● 12. Detectors stored in an environment below 0°C should be placed at room temperature for more than 2 hours before being powered on.
● 13. Detectors that have not been used for a long time can only be used normally after powering on for 2 hours.
