Combustible gas alarm detector device can be divided into industrial combustible gas alarm device and household gas alarm device according to the use environment. According to its own form, it can be divided into fixed combustible gas alarm device and portable combustible gas alarm device. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, steel and iron, special industrial plants and other places with combustible gas.
The gas alarm detector can convert the gas concentration detected by the combustible gas sensor into electrical signal, which is transmitted to the controller through the shielded cable. The higher the gas concentration is, the stronger the electrical signal is. When the gas concentration reaches or exceeds the alarm point set by the alarm controller, the alarm will send out an alarm signal, and start the external equipment such as solenoid valve and exhaust fan to automatically eliminate the hidden danger.
When the gas alarm is used in the kitchen of the hotel, the alarm should be installed at the place where the staff can easily see and hear. Because the main component of natural gas, methane (CH4), is lighter than air, the detector should be installed at the place 30cm away from the roof with the plug downward.
It should be noted that there should be no strong electromagnetic field around the gas alarm which has an impact on the operation of the instrument. The gas alarm mainly contacts the detection elements of the combustion gas sensor, so it should be careful when installing to avoid damaging the instrument
