LPG (Liquefied gas) gas alarm detector mostly use catalytic fuel sensor. Under normal use, the sensor's sensitivity will naturally decrease by 10% to 30% each year, and its life expectancy is generally (1 to 3) years. Therefore, the alarm needs to be checked regularly every year.
The main function of the LPG gas alarm detector is when the liquefied gas leaks and reaches the early warning value, the gas alarm system will automatically send sound and light alarm, reminding the staff to take corresponding measures in time to avoid more serious accidents caused by the liquefied gas leakage. Liquefied gas alarms are an important safety facility. Many customers are concerned about the service life of liquefied gas alarms. How to make it work for a longer time?

First of all, pay attention to the maintenance of the system. The detector has undergone gas calibration before leaving the factory. After installation, please do not replace the components . If you replace the components, you must recalibrate.
Second, the detector is forbidden from the impact of high-concentration gas, which may damage the sensor.
Third,it is necessary to avoid frequent power failure of the detector, which will cause the detection element to work unstable.
Forth, during use, the gas alarm controller and gas detector should be regularly checked for normal operation, and the inspection cycle should be at least once every three months.
Last,If your liquefied gas alarm detector is installed outdoors, be sure to add a rainproof cover to avoid damage to the circuit board due to rain, resulting in the liquefied gas alarm not working properly.
