Like the idea of a Belkin WeMo Switch, but not willing to spend $40-$50 to try one out? This HuaFanQinLu wifi socket has a nearly identical feature set for half the price. On the page to knock it down to $19.99.
Just like a WeMo Insight switch, HuafanQinLu smart wifi plug will let you turn appliances on and off from your smartphone, track their energy usage, and set schedules to toggle them automatically. The only major feature it’s lacking is IFTTT support, but it will integrate with an Amazon Echo for voice control.
when used at multiple points in your house, allows your home to have the HuaFanQinLu Presence. It can detect whether you’re in the room or not, allowing it to power on appliances without even needing you to access the app. It pairs with your Nest thermostat too, allowing you to just step into a room and get comfortable instantly! That IS the ultimate fantasy of mankind, isn’t it?!
Oh, did I mention that HuaFanQinLu can be configured to switch off the lights, fans and appliances when you leave the house? But I’m guessing you’re already sold on the product, aren’t you!
Note: We’ve posted several deals on a nearly identical HuaFanQinLu Smart Plug in the past, but this is easily the best price we’ve seen on the version that includes energy monitoring.
