Electrical equipment explosion-proof grade definition

Explosion-proof electrical equipment is divided into two categories: class I for underground coal mine electrical equipment;II refers to electrical equipment used in places other than mines, which is distinguished according to the maximum test safety gap (MESG) or minimum ignition current (MICR). Class II electrical equipment is divided into three categories :IIA, IIb and IIC.

The above four categories mainly according to different working conditions is likely to detonate the smallest spark energy, China and Europe and most of the countries and regions in the world the explosive gas into four risk rating, specific differences in the following table: second, based on the differences of explosive gas mixture according to the ignition temperature, group is divided into T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, six of the ignition temperature with t (℃).

T1is:450℃<t;

T2is:300℃<t ≤450 ℃;

T3is:200℃<t ≤300 ℃;

T4is:135℃<t ≤200℃;

T5is:100℃<t ≤135℃;
