Nowadays, with more and more vehicles, large and medium-sized underground garages in cities are becoming more and more popular due to their unique advantages. However, while being convenient, CO (carbon monoxide) poisoning incidents in underground garages are also frequently seen in the newspapers.
Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, and it is very harmful to the human body when inhaled. It will combine with hemoglobin to produce carboxyhemoglobin and cause hypoxia. The most common symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, such as headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue and feeling of weakness, exposure to carbon monoxide may severely damage the heart and central nervous system, with sequelae.

According to the test, when the carbon monoxide concentration in the air reaches 50ppm, a healthy adult can bear it for 8 hours; when it reaches 200ppm, a healthy adult will have a slight headache and fatigue after 2 to 3 hours; when it reaches 400ppm, a healthy adult will have 1 to 2 hours Forehead pain is life-threatening after 3 hours; when it reaches 800 ppm, healthy adults will experience vertigo, nausea, and cramps within 45 minutes, lose consciousness within 2 hours, and die within 2 to 3 hours.
The production of carbon monoxide in underground garages is mainly derived from the car engine. When the engine is idling, due to insufficient gasoline combustion, exhaust gas containing a large amount of CO will be produced. The underground parking lot is a closed environment. Vehicles enter and exit frequently, and the exhaust gas is not easy to be discharged. It is easy to accumulate a large amount of CO gas, which causes the smell of choking in the parking lot and harms people's health. Therefore, underground garages and parking lots should be equipped with air supply and exhaust systems, which should be replaced with fresh air.

Solution:
The Xi'an Huafan carbon monoxide detection system needs to be installed in the underground garage. The main purpose is:
1. Exhaust air regularly to ensure that the carbon monoxide concentration in the garage is below the hazardous level, which is a safety consideration.
2. Exhaust air according to the concentration of carbon monoxide in the underground garage to avoid energy waste caused by excessively high air exhaust frequency is considered to be energy saving.
