Oxygen, one of the major components of air, is heavier than air and has a density of 1.429 g/l under standard conditions (0℃ and ATMOSPHERIC pressure 101325 pa).Colorless, odorless, tasteless.It has very little solubility in water.At a pressure of 101kPa, oxygen becomes a light blue liquid at about -183 degrees Celsius and a light blue solid like a snowflake at about -218 degrees Celsius.

Too high or too low a concentration of oxygen can be harmful:
Oxygen concentration (% volume) -- Symptoms (at atmospheric pressure)
>23.5 percent - rich in oxygen, with a strong explosion risk
20.9%- Normal oxygen concentration
19.5%- the minimum allowable concentration of oxygen
15-19%- reduces productivity and can lead to head, lung and circulatory problems
10-12%-- Shortness of breath, loss of judgment, purple lips
8-10%-- Loss of intelligence, fainting, unconsciousness, pale face, purple lips, nausea and vomiting
6-8%-- fatal in eight minutes;
4 to 6 percent -- Within 40 seconds, convulsions, respiratory arrest, death
100%-- fatal /6 minutes;
50%-- fatal /4-5 minutes cure
Therefore, oxygen alarm can be configured in the use of oxygen, real-time on-site oxygen concentration detection, to ensure the safety of personnel.
