So how to install a combustible gas alarm system in a gas station? What are the requirements for installation height?
First, Installation height, generally according to the national requirements for the installation of combustible gas alarm detector, the installation height is according to the specific gravity of the measured gas. If the measured gas has a lighter specific gravity than air, the installation height should not be 30-60 from the roof or ceiling. If the specific gravity is heavier than air, the installation height is about 30-60 cm from the ground. Of course, this is a reference requirement, and it depends on the actual installation environment.
Second, installation requirement, a detector covers an area of about 20-30 square meters. Due to the outdoor environment of the gas station, the detection range is not very accurate. It is for reference only. There are many external factors and will be affected by the wind. And whether the tested environment is at the up or down vent, etc. If your gas station refueling station is about 100 square meters, then you can install 4-5 detectors. If the area is larger, add more detectors. In the installation process, if there are less than 8 detectors, the output signal adopts 4-20ma signal, and the connecting line between the detector and the controller adopts 3X1.5 square signal shielded cable. If there are more than 8 detectors, the output signal adopts RS485 bus signal. The connection line between the detector and the controller adopts a 4X1.5 square signal shielded cable.
