For the instrument with built-in pump, it is also necessary to check the airtightness of the pumping system (the specific operation method: after opening the meter, the intake terminal of the pumping system is blocked, such as the top of the sampling probe, and the meter sends a pump flow blocking alarm, indicating The air pumping performance of the instrument pumping system is normal, otherwise the meter cannot be used).
Regular maintenance
Since the sensor of the portable gas detector is a measuring instrument, the deviation of the detection occurs according to the passage of time. Therefore, it is necessary to periodically correct the deviation of the portable gas detector, which is what we often say.
More international safety equipment association requirements, regular calibration has no so-called fixed period, according to the actual environment and frequency used by the portable gas detector, as long as the meter can not pass the rapid test, it means that the deviation of the meter sensor is too large, will affect The test results need to be calibrated.
In order to facilitate the user to better define the management of the portable gas detector, we generally recommend that the customer perform a regular maintenance including calibration on the portable gas detector for at least half a year.
At the same time, for the pumping portable gas detector, additional regular maintenance is required, and the filtration device of the pumping system is regularly inspected (mainly to check the internal filter membrane of the pumping product to see if it has failed, judge The method of failure is to observe the color change of the filter membrane. The clean membrane color is pure white, and the failure filter membrane is yellowish black.
When performing the following work environment, you need to consider a quick test, calibration check or calibration of the portable gas detector:
1. Prolonged exposure or use in unusual environments such as high/low, high/low humidity or airborne particulate environments.
2. Exposure to high concentration (or over-range) target gases or vapors.
3. Catalytic combustion sensor The reaction filament is exposed to the environment of toxic gas or gas suppression for a long time.
4. The electrochemical sensor is exposed to solvent vapors and highly interfering gases.
5. Poor storage conditions and operating environment, such as portable gas detectors may fall to a hard surface or sink into the water, which will affect the instrumentation circuit.
6. The storage monitoring of the portable gas detector changes.
7. Changes in the working environment of the portable gas detector may affect the normal use of the sensor.
